We’re seeking creative, collaborative, and playful artists who are excited to explore these iconic characters in fresh and compelling ways. We value actors who are curious, generous scene partners, and eager to tell this story together.
- A large portion of our 2025 company will be returning, so we are currently casting only the following roles:
- Van Helsing (any gender)
- Flower Girl/Betsy (female-presenting character)
- Quincy Morris/Sea Captain (male-presenting character)
- Dr. Seward (male-presenting character)
- We prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion in our casting process.
- Some actors may play multiple roles.
- All actors are paid. (certain exceptions apply)
WHEN:
- In-Person Auditions Sat. Aug 8th, 2026 - 10am to 1pm
- Callbacks will be Mon. Aug 10th - 6:30 PM
WHERE:
- Auditions and callbacks will take place at Peery’s Egyptian Theater / Eccles Conference Center, 2415 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT
- We ask that you enter the Eccles Conference Center from the corner of 24th Street and Kiesel Ave. You may find parking along the street curbside or park in the Megaplex parking garage to the northwest of the entrance. Check in will be in the lounge area and auditions will be held in the 100’s hallway conference rooms.
HOW:
- Complete the audition application and sign-up for an audition time.
- Prepare one of the provided audition monologues (choose one). Please spend time with the story and come ready with bold, specific choices that reflect your understanding of the character, the story, and the world of the play.
- We aren’t looking for one “correct” interpretation—we’re looking for artists with a clear point of view who are willing to take risks, make strong choices, and bring these characters to life in a thoughtful, authentic way.
- Virtual Auditions are available with approval. Complete an audition sign-up and choose an audition time. Once you have completed the audition process, you will see an option to request a virtual audition. Video must be uploaded no later than one day before auditions.

REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCES:
- Rehearsals will start TBD. (All rehearsals are TBA and subject to change).
- Once your schedule has been approved and contracts signed, there will be NO adding conflicts without approval from staff.
- Performances will be Oct 15th through Oct 19th 2026 (2pm Sat & 4pm Sun show) at Peery’s Egyptian Theater in Ogden, Utah. This show is single cast. You must be available for ALL performances.
